A Hay of a Day.....

As usual....for every time we can ride.... the following Saturday usually is  a soggy one.  However, there is always something happening @ the barn to keep me amused & my camera busy :)
         

  Here is what's left on half of this trailer that once held over 200 bales of hay!

                             This is the other half!!!

          This is Oscar (owner's son-in-law) preparing to hoist the hay

                            ( that weighs over 70 lbs)

                   And is placed on the conveyor belt where......

         Lloyd (owner's son) is anxiously waiting for it to reach the loft...

      So he can lift it to his Dad who places the bale in the correct row.

Last bale going up....it was wonderful to see Doug (owner) & his family working so well as a team.....& I only had to play photographer  :)
